API and troubleshooting
Understand the Apple Ads Platform API behind this MCP connector, account permissions, credential recovery, rate limits and connection troubleshooting.
The server uses Apple's maintained Node SDK and the Apple Ads Platform API. It does not use Campaign Management API v5, which Apple retires on January 26, 2027.
Apple Ads account authorization is separate from website sign-in and your MCP client's connection to this service.
- Setup required: finish the Apple connection on your account page.
- Account forbidden: choose an ad account your Apple authorization can access.
- Spend access required: explicitly enable the spend tier if you intend to make changes.
- HTTP 429: wait, then retry. The server backs off for up to three retries.
- Unexpected failure: send feedback from the account page or the feedback tool.
